About the Authors
Hon. Paul Johnson
Hon. Paul E. Johnson Jr., the youngest mayor of Phoenix, Arizona at 30 years old, is the visionary CEO and co-founder of Redirect Health. As the dynamic host of The Optimistic American podcast, he showcases a positive and hopeful view of America, inspiring listeners with uplifting stories and fostering unity and optimism for the future. With a remarkable background in business, politics, and government, he has successfully managed state campaigns for presidential candidates.

Larry Aldrich
Aldrich holds a civil engineering degree from Georgia Tech and a law degree from Tulane Law School. He has worked as a federal antitrust prosecutor, company lawyer for Gannett Co., Inc., and president and CEO of Tucson's daily newspapers. After his newspaper career, he founded Tucson Ventures, Southern Arizona's first venture capital firm, and co-founded the Southern Arizona Leadership Council. He also served as CEO of University Physicians Healthcare and is an active member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, advocating for First Amendment rights.
